My name is Christopher Kopiwoda, I live in Kenilworth, Illinois (a northern suburb of Chicago), and I am currently a sophomore on the New Trier High School tennis team.  I have been playing tennis for nearly 9 years and plan to keep playing for 90 more.  In addition to teaching me patience, dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship, tennis kept me active and sane during the pandemic.  Knowing what tennis has done for me, I would like to give back to my community the gift of this fantastic life-time sport.  If I am able to introduce tennis to even one other kid who is as positively impacted by this great game as I have been, then it will all be well worth it.
