A community service program that collects and recycles tennis rackets for under served youth world wide.

Rockland, NY Chapter

Mandy Fleischmann

Mandy started this project as a seventh grader at Suffern Middle School in Rockland County, New York. She is now going into eighth grade. Mandy was looking for a community service project for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah when she heard about Kids Serving Kids. Mandy comes from a tennis playing family and she started playing at 3 years old.  As an avid tennis player, who will be playing for her school tennis team this fall, Mandy saw this as a great opportunity to share the sport she loves with other kids who may not have the opportunity to play. Setting a goal of 75 rackets, Mandy blew past this and collected over 100 rackets.

If you want additional information or if you have rackets to donate Mandy can be contacted at tennisgal1025@gmail.com.

Here is a link to a newspaper article covering Mandy's successful donation day.
